Signs Of A Falling Nation
Proverbs 14:34 (NKJV)
"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."
Not much time is left. The clear signs of a fallen nation is simple.
Spiritural Decline.
Economic Decline.
Military Decline.
1. Spiritural Decline:
Psalms 33:12 (NKJV) "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance."
When the Puritans came over to America in the 17th century, it was because they were persecuted in Europe. The first settlers dedicted the land to the Lord. Then England, supposedly a stronghold for Christianity, drunk with power and money, decided to attempt to end the revolt of the Colonies.
What were they after? Free speech and guns. Typical tyranical government to suppress the people. Make every colony pay an enormous amount of taxes. Take away their ability to say anything about it. And take away their ability to fight back. Much like today in communist states.
Let's face it. Had England not stood against the Catholic Church, it would be a serious challenge for England to establish true Christianity, to be saved by grace through faith in Christ alone and not by works by indulgences. Independence was declared in 1776.
As the years went by, the moral decline continued. Hidden behind all of the "church" attendance were individuals that knew, to some degree, that when any and every immorality was in full swing, the Lord would send chastisement to discipline the nation.
Just like in the book of Judges, Israel would only last for a season, then God would judge the land. This happened to bring the nation to its senses. Then the cycle would continue.
Righteousness, rebellion, remorse, repentance.
Fast forward to the 60's and rebellion was in full swing.
Psalms 2:1-3 (NKJV) "Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
Behind the scenes, homosexuality was rampant but now, the closet door is torn down. Every sort of sinful debachery in lasciviousness was released. Adultery and fornication was practiced in and outside the church.
It may have been low level observation but when you went to church, professed believers were obvious but they’ve never vigorously confronted these sins with the Word of God.
Effeminate preaching took hold where there was no fear of God.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV) "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."
People wanted sermons about life's affairs and not about the destination of their souls. Jesus is ridiculed and strong gospel preaching was shunned because pastors catered to the wicked demands of the people.
Like Israel before the Assyrian captivity.
Isaiah 30:8-11 (NKJV) "Now go, write it before them on a tablet,
And note it on a scroll, that it may be for time to come, forever and ever:
That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD; who say to the seers, “Do not see,”
And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things;
Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.
Get out of the way,
Turn aside from the path,
Cause the Holy One of Israel
To cease from before us.”
Sounds familiar?
Then in the 50's and 60's, deceiving spirits and doctrines (teachings) of demons entered to deceive people. Name it claim it. Blab it grab it. Healing and prosperity.
This kind of false gospel always reared its ugly head since the true gospel began.
The very thing that the Lord warned against in Revelation chapters two and three of the 5 of 7 churches has manifested constantly today.
1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV) "Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron..."
The Lord always had a group of true believers that refuse to capitulate. Standing strong in the midst of spiritual decline.
Even in Israel, the Lord has a group of Jews that believe that Jesus is the Messiah and are strong in their resolve to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Jewish Messiah.
Economic Decline.
America has a 40 trillion dollar debt. It's only a matter of time before this debt will capsize the nation. This is key and critical. Each session of Congress continues to kick the can down (Continuing Resolution) the road in establishing meaningful debt reduction because everyone knows that no nation survives catastrophic debt.
A strong national economy can certainly weather the economic storm but when you look at how they're not serious about it, it should be alarming. It's like the doctor told you to do something or you'll die and then you do what you want until the doctor says, I can't do anymore. I've tried to help you but you wouldn't listen.
Military Decline.
Asymmetric warfare, cyber and drone/robot technology is on the rise. When the US military seems adequate to meet these challenges, we've see how the devil plans to topple this military super power. To eat itself from the inside. It almost worked during the Clinton, Obama, and Obama/Biden presidencies but it will return with a vengeance to destroy this nation.
Plans are already in the making to do everything possible to destroy America the next time Democrats assume power in all three branches of government. No tool that domestic American enemies will use is too extreme. Everything is on the table, including death.
How will the military decline take place?
Transgenderism and homosexuality are tools to make the military soft. The inability to retain experenced troops. The financial backing to project global reach power. The resolve to quickly and decisively defeat the enemy. The ability to sustain economic and military pressure to compel your enemy to submit to your will. To allow soft western nations to influence the decline. Mutiny is also a tool. We've seen this with a retired Captain in the Navy, and other officers, retired and active, telling active duty personnel to disobey lawful orders from the president, who is the Commander In Chief of all armed forces.
Where does these three things lead us?
These are the last days. The coming of Christ is near but before He returns to the earth, the world is becoming one as Nimrod invisioned.
The only Person that stopped him was God when He confounded their languages (Babel), they wouldn't be able to communicate.
Today, AI and other technologies have made it possible to communicate real time by translating languages on the spot.
Once these things are in place, the final week of Daniel's 70th Week prophesy, given to Daniel by the Lord through the angel Gabriel (see Daniel 9), will usher in a time unlike any other (see Daniel 12 and Revelation chapters 5 through 19).
Finally, Christian persecution is here in America. The very thing that the Puritans escaped from is here in Amercia.
