Familiar? It should be. Psalms 42:9-10 (NKJV)

"I will say to God my Rock,

“Why have You forgotten me?

Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”

As with a breaking of my bones,

My enemies reproach me,

While they say to me all day long,

“Where is your God?”

In Minnesota, the home state of the governor who lied about his military rank, and supporter of tampons in boys bathrooms and transgenders, Tim Walz, a tragic shooting took place where 2 children were shot dead. 17 others were injured by a gunman named Robert Westman, age 23.

Robert pretended to be a woman and with this "disguise," he set out to kill people. It's becoming a regular thing. Not just the shooting but the using of the "disguise" to commit crime. He took his own life and sadly, 2 other children entered into eternity. I do have to concede that the "disguise" wasn't intentional, however, the pattern is consistent, in my opinion.

So like in any tragedy, people that's in Christ and not in Christ respond by saying things out of sympathy to this unconscionable event.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this tragedy." Or words to this effect.

Years ago, many people would say that "thoughts and prayers aren't enough," we need action!"

Name one gun law that would have stopped this tragedy. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens will not work. Take away cars, knives, hands, feet, trucks, and other instruments while you're at it. The criminal will emerge and use anything that's available to kill another person.

Robert legally purchased his firearms.

It's the evil in a person's heart that causes tragedy after tragedy.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 (NKJV)

“The heart is deceitful above all things,

And desperately wicked;

Who can know it?

I, the LORD, search the heart,

I test the mind,

Even to give every man according to his ways,

According to the fruit of his doings."

We mustn't forget that other tragedies where people have been killed happened today.

Another thing to point out is that Catholicism is a false religion but should anyone be shot for no reason at all? In any religious place, Catholic, Jew, Muslim, Protestant Christianity? Especially innocent children?

Obviously not.

Remember Luke 13:1-5.

The comment is a cliche. With the true believer in Christ, prayer to the Father in the name of Christ is what we do whether people are in Christ or not. Regardless of your profession, true believers in Christ are to pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ for ALL MEN (see 1 Timothy 2:1-6).

The Lord, during His earthly ministry, healed a lot of people. And many of them were impenitent. Some of them never repented and placed their faith in Christ. But He ministered to them anyway.

On the Internet is a picture of one of the magazines for an AR-15 that Robert probably used. The shooter wrote on that magazine "Where Is Your God."

For those that questioned whether or not God was there, we need to remember that in Genesis chapter 4, the Lord was there before Cain killed his own brother, Abel.

The Lord gave Cain a solution about his rejection. But Cain was so obsessed and consumed with the fact that God rejected Cain's fruit offering but respected his brother's offering, a lamb without blemish, that he still killed his brother.

Cain put a lot of work into his offering and all that work was for nothing.

Why? Cain was rejected because it wasn't what God required.

Why did Robert chose a Catholic Church to do the killing? The evidence is slowly coming to light. However, his hatred for Trump. His hatred for God is ultimately becoming a major part of his reasoning.

Homosexuals and transgenders want to be accepted the way they want to be and the mere fact of being rejected hurts. However, suppression of free speech to declare that homosexuality and transgenderism is an abomination before God isn't the answer.

Genesis 1:26-27 is clear.

Now whether this is the true foundation of Robert's anger has yet to be determined. However, we see that suicide rates for trandgenders is high. One death too many. It's beyond a mental condition because any time you see a person struggle with their identity, they will attempt to change the outside before looking within.

Now I'm not saying that this is the ONLY reason, but it may be a significant contributing factor that we can't ignore.

For the families that have lost their child, questions will arise.

Why didn't God do something to stop Robert? The same question probably was asked when Abel needlessly lost his life. It's clear that people will not agree with this blog, but one thing is clear. God cannot be blamed for death (Romans 5:12).

The Lord in Omnipresent. Every where at once. God was always there.

Fallen sinful man through satan was responsible for death. Not God. Demonic sinful, bad, wicked, evil men. The only solution is obedience to God's command, "You shall not murder."

To blame God for death is wrong.

Remember. There's a devil that is a murderer from the beginning (see John 8:44).

Blame is to be squarely placed on satan and his evil children whose hearts are "...deceitful above all things and desperately wicked."

Not God.
