Better Than SNAP

Snap is called the Supplimental Nutritional Assistance Program. It's a governmental assistance program paid for by taxpayers.

According to ChatGPT "To participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), applicants must meet specific income and resource limits, which vary by household size and are updated annually.

Generally, gross monthly income should not exceed 130% of the federal poverty level, and net income should be at or below 100% of the poverty level. Certain resources, like homes and vehicles, are excluded, but others like bank accounts are considered; limits are typically $2,250, or $3,500 if a household member is elderly or disabled.

Work requirements apply to able-bodied adults without dependents, necessitating at least 80 hours of work or related activities per month, though exemptions exist.

Eligibility also depends on factors like citizenship status, with most legal immigrants eligible after five years of residency."

For able bodied persons, SNAP is a way to get you on your feet. However, for the elderly and disabled, they may never come off of these much needed benefits for obvious reasons.

John 12:8 (NKJV)

"For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”

Churches and charitable organizations willingly assist the poor.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 (NKJV) "Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life."

At any rate, for anyone, we see that people need assistance. However, there's always the fraudsters that look to game the system. Like selling their benefits on the card to get cash on hand to buy drugs, alcohol, and other prohibited items.

Then you have the hackers that look to skim your information, sell it on the black market or dark web ansd make money that way. In America, 41+ million Americans are on the program. There's no question in my mind that a portion of them are up to no go because of the sin nature that's in them.

Matthew 6:24 (NKJV)

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."

Hackers and fraudsters hate the One True God and love money. Hackers and fraudsters are loyal to money and despise God. They serve the god called money. They can't serve them both at the same time.

They'll steal, kill, and destroy anyone for money, a piece of paper, with depraived indifference. There's no love in them but for themselves. They're selfish and full of pride.

John 10:10 (NKJV) "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

The only solution is for hackers, fraudsters, and thieves to come to Christ in repentance.

The federal government has chosen to help people however, we see that as with any program, it has limitations, waste, abuse, and fruad. These limitations underscores the fact that man must depend upon God alone.

When the children of Israel were released from the bondage of Egypt, the Lord miraculously provided for Israel until they've entered the promised land called Canaan. It would be there that the Lord would provide for the children of Israel, provided that they obey His commandments (see Deuteronomy chapter 8).

When Israel disobeyed the Lord, they were severely judged by the Lord. The Lord would send famines, pestilences, drought, sickness, disease, and enemies. Then the Lord exiled them to Assyria and the Babylon.

Sadly, government wants people to be dependent upon them as if they were God. It was never meant to be (see Proverbs 3:5-8 and Jeremiah 17:5-10).

So in defiance, man will not want God to be King because God is righteous and holy.

In rebellion, man desires the complete opposite of God.

The devil is completely opposite of God and sinful man agrees with satan. However, death settles the issue.

The rebellion of each sinful man ends when he physically leaves this earth.

As I've said, there's only one solution.

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV) "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

But like Israel, man refuses to come to the Lord.

Until then, dependence upon government will continue, but only for a limited time.
