Bible Prophesy Events Must Be Beyond A SHADOW Of A Doubt.

As I look to scholars and old commentaries about Bible prophesy commonly called eschatology, I used to assume that they would have the understanding about certain events. Some of them do but the events of the day sometimes don't match the Scriptures.
Don’t brag and let’s humble ourselves.
The word "eschatology" is found in Hebrews 1:1-2 (NKJV) "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds..."
Look at the word "last days." This is where the word eschatology is found.
As a rule, nothing is definitive until there's undeniable events.
When the Lord came as the Messiah, the signs in the Bible were undeniable. However, even with the Scriptures, many doubted that the Lord Jesus was the Messiah.
Let's list some things just to give a for instance.
Micah prophesied that One would come out of Bethlehem.
Micah 5:2 (NKJV)
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”
Here's the fulfillment.
Matthew 2:1-2 (NKJV) "Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
But how He would come out of Bethlehem was the mystery. Well, sort of.
How did the Lord Jesus come out of Bethlehem?
Isaiah 7:14 (NKJV) "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel."
Here's the fulfillment.
Luke 1:30-35 (NKJV) "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
And the angel answered and said to her, ”The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God."
Mary, not married, would be the virgin by which the Lord would be born.
So how did they end up in Bethlehem?
Luke 2:1-7 (NKJV) "And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city.
Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child.
So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."
So Scripture foretold of these events but when it was time for its fulfillment, people were confused.
So today, we're seeing events, obviously, in real time and many are scurrying to break the news about the Beast, the False Prophet, the Messiah, the tribulation and other end time events. We want to have "the scoop."
But just like the events of when the Lord would come to the earth, only a few will have enough sense to say "wait and watch."
Daniel 12:10 (NKJV)
"Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand."
The world events is the "small print" of Biblical prophesy. Many eschatologists are saying that the events of the world are happening so fast that no one is able to keep up with the pace.
IT'S AN INDICATION THAT WE'RE IN THE FINAL TRIMESTER.
So where are we on the timeline of Biblical prophesy?
Matthew 24:4-14 (NKJV) "And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."
The word "sorrows" is birth pangs like a woman that's about to give birth.
When a woman is about to give birth, it's commonly in the final trimester. It picks up pace when birthing is about to occur. It increases in intensity and the pace is rapid.
The events that's happening today are similar. These events are increasing in intensity and the pace is rapid. The end is near.
Many of us have preconceived ideas and interpretations of Scripture. In other words, we have our own convictions and conclusions. But even the religious leaders of Christ's day had preconceived notions but the Lord manifested many things to their faces and they were unable to discern the times.
So it is with this generation. The Lord is doing things in plain sight and we're unable to discern what the Scriptures told us.
The months leading to the birth of Christ happened the same way. One event after another and the next thing they knew, the Lord was on the earth.
Even with an undeniable sign like the star moving over the Messiah in Bethlehem, they weren't prepared for it.
This star was an undeniable and unusual sign.
The Shepherds however, knew that something significant would happen and somehow, they were able to discern the the right star at the right time. The unusual movement of the star told them what to look for.
This star literally moved over the place where Christ was born. This star was divinely directed by God.
In plain sight, a set of miracles took place.
The Lord Jesus, in Matthew 24, showed us what to look for, yet, we're so engrossed with the current events that things are happening in plain sight.
Bible prophesy isn't an easy subject and we must admit that we don't have command of the subject.
We may klnow some things in Scripture, but we have yet to see the definitive manifestations so we could say without a shadow of a doubt that this is what the Lord told us.
The bar is set high.
Just like in court during a criminal trial, the evidence must be "Beyond A Shadow Of A Doubt."
