2 Peter 2:1 (NKJV)

"But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction."

Romans 16:17-18 (NKJV)

"Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple."

Jude 1:16-19 (NKJV)

"These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit."

The Internet has gone viral, in particular, those that were exposed for preaching false doctrine with covetous practices. False prophets and teachers will defend their evil ways by accusing others of exposing what they were doing.

The income of the heresy peddler is what false prophets and teachers are defending.

They love and serve money (see Matthew 6:24 and 1 Timothy 6:6-10).

Luke 16:14 (NKJV)

"Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him."

When the light of the gospel comes upon them, they'll accuse the exposer that they're the ones that's in error. That heresy hunters must leave the heresy peddlers alone. Stop exposing what we're doing.

Luke 12:2 is clear.

Luke 12:1-3 (NKJV) "In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.

Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops."

In Matthew 23, the Lord's last major discourse would be given to the Sanhedrin. It would be the constant exposing of the evil and wicked covetous deeds of religious leaders that would ultimately send the Lord Jesus to His death.

It's a common practice that when you expose wickedness, waste, fraud, abuse, and sin, that they want to get rid of you.

The heresy peddlers want the heresy hunters to leave them alone because their exposure is ruining their plan to deceive the gullible to take advantage of them as shown in the book of Jude above.

If they had a genuine fear of God, they wouldn't do it.

Flattering people to gain an advantage over them.

This means to exploit them for money.

2 Peter 2:2-3 (NKJV) "And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber."

Peter, by the Holy Spirit, further explains their folly and their end.

2 Peter 2:12-14 (NKJV) "But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime.

They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls.

They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children."

The "covetous practices" is the training they've received from other deceivers that are employed in other local churches. They follow a similar pattern.

With deceptice words like....."Sow a seed meet a need."

"Give and it will be given unto you."

"God will bless you if you sow a seed of $1000.00 dollars."

"You'll get healed, if you sow a seed."

"You'll get a greater anointing if you sow a greater seed."

"The tithers will be saved from debt."

"Pay your tithes to your local church, but give offerings above your tithes too."

"Only the tithers will be protected."

"Become a partner with me and sow a seed into this ministry."

"I'm not trying to take your money (yes they are) but sow a seed into this ministry."

"The only way out of a need is to sow a seed."

"God will make you a multimillionaire if you sow a seed."

"You'll get a hundredfold return if you sow a seed into good ground."

"My ministry is good ground and you'll reap a hundredfold harvest."

Putting money in another man's pocket will not make you rich. It'll make them rich. They fly in private planes while you're struggling to make car payments. Investing your money in a bank to earn interest or working for a living and then saving what you've earned will make you rich.

Hunting after heresy peddlers will continue because the Heresy Hunter is the Lord.

He'll expose you in a heartbeat.

Churches and ministries need money to operate.

So there's no reason to manipulate people to give. Just ask for it.

People may or may not respond and leave it at that.
