Galatians 6:1 (NKJV)

"Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted."

It's easy to look at others and expect them to hold the line in their Christian walk, but when the shoe is on the other foot, we throw the Scriptures at them.

Kris Williams released another video but it's about his actions regarding his sin and repentance regarding pursuing a woman in a non physical relationship outside of his marriage.

It was chatroom adultery.

Some of us may have gone through an episode of sin in our own lives. Then the Lord restores us and we become "experts" at being delivered. We point out the sins of others like we've never sinned ourselves.

1 Corinthians 10:12 (NKJV)

"Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall."

1 John 1:6-10 (NKJV)

"If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

Or we've sinned and all of a sudden, we're proficient in repentance, grace, and forgiveness.

We try to show the tendencies and the pitfalls of others and compare them with someone that currently fell into sin. We also assume that others will follow the same pattern. A "one size fits all approach" is applied.

Each person is different.

I say these things because there's only One expert. The Lord.

We don't consider ourselves because of the pride that's evident in our hearts and then a humbling moment comes. We have unrepentant sin in our own lives.

It's true that many have monetized the fall of others.

We put up our personal advertisements for viewers to become Patreon subscribers for a monthly fee. We get as many clicks, views, likes, shares, and subscriptions as possible as we take advantage of the fall of others.

When we criticize false teachers about "TITHES AND OFFERINGS," we ask for money ourselves to support the "channel."

We use a single edged sword. We cut others but we won't cut ourselves.

We try to appear to care about the Scriptural process towards true repentance, but we ask for money to support our channel.

Yes, this has become a new method to make money and it's legitimate but when you take advantage of another person's fall, it should affect your conscience. but for some, it won't.

The Lord said to His disciples in Matthew 10:9-10 (NKJV), "Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food."

Here's another rendition of Matthew 10:10.

Luke 10:6-7 (NKJV) "And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house."

1 Corinthians 9:14 (NKJV) "Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel."

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 5:17-18 (NKJV),

"Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”

In other words, people should get paid for the work that they do, especially those that legitimately preach the correct and only gospel.

There's a difference in doing legitimate work and taking advantage of a situation to get money.

I've started doing the same thing just to get people to read my content until it was eating up my conscience.

It's called "Click Bait." It's another form of lying to get people interested in your content.

There's a difference in doing something deceptive to get people interested in your contnet than using things in a deceptive way to entice people to read your content.

The only thing that I didn't do is monetize or merchandise it.

So here's the five things that we should offer to Kris and others. It could be more but we'll just stick to these five things.

Grace. Mercy. Repentance. Forgiveness. Restoration.

The goal for Kris and others that offers true repentance is this.

James 5:19-20 (NKJV)

"Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."

Another thing is that we don't know the whole story until someone gives it. When there's only one person in the camera, there's other participants that may or may not tell their side of the story.

Proverbs 18:17 (NKJV)

"The first one to plead his cause seems right, until his neighbor comes and examines him."

There's direct examination and then there's cross examination.

In direct examination there's a "What? When? Where? What did you see? What did you do? When did you see it? Where do you go?"

The direct examination is about you and cross examination leads a witness with questions to get to other things that may be missing in direct examination.

As with all stories, it will be a trickle effect when it comes to releasing all of the details unless one or others chooses to release all of the details.

Even if one person releases all of the details, it will never be enough because a person may not give another person the benefit of the doubt.

However, if and when it's our turn to deal with our exposure of sin, we know the line. We know how to answer others when the shoe is on our foot.

"Please respect our privacy."

I've seen Kris' repentance and in my humble opinion, it's genuine.

From my perspective, it's a first step that we all take when questions surrounding what happen is coming in different directions really fast.

So you try to get ahead of a train wreck as best as you can.

His candor and sincerity is what you would expect in a person that has a heart for God. For some, it won't be enough because it hurts, but also people want to take advantage.

So hasty, many people will not observe Kris' candor and sincerity. It's commom for people that want to take advantage because you're goal is to make money.

For content creators, we want to sensationalize the episode to get more traffic to our channel.

That's what YouTube, TikTok, Rumble and other media platforms is about.

More traffic, more money.

Now with false teachers, they have to renounce what they teach, otherwise the deception and delusion continues. They may appear repentant but it's for one reason only. They want to salvage their "ministry," and stop the bleeding so they could resume making money.

Their "empire" must be saved at all costs.

Never mind that hell is at their feet.

If they were truly saved, they would read Psalm 51 and Matthew 7:15-23.

After reaading Psalm 51 and crying out to the Lord in true, non hypocritical repentance, you'll see, Grace. Mercy. Repentance. Forgiveness. Restoration.

You could see Kris Williams' repentance here.
