WARNING-The Dome Of The Rock: Israel Is Burning With Jealousy

According to Wikipedia- "It's initial construction was undertaken by the Umayyad Caliphate on the orders of Abd al-Malik during the Second Fitna in 691–692 CE, and it has since been situated on top of the site of the Second Jewish Temple (built in c. 516 BCE to replace the destroyed Solomon's Temple and rebuilt by Herod the Great), which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE. The original dome collapsed in 1015 and was rebuilt in 1022–23."

When Israel was expelled from the land that the Lord gave them, it was a big signal that the end times was fully underway.

However, the last days officially commenced when the earthly ministry of the Lord occurred.

Hebrews 1:1-2 (NKJV)

"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds..."

When the Romans destroyed the Temple in AD 70, it was the fulfillment of the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 24.

"Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple.

And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

This was an undeniable signal that Israel would never forget. You thought that the Lord was serious during the expulsion of the Jews in 586 BC to Babylon. Nebuchadezzar went hundreds of miles to destroy the Temple and Wall. He took the captives of Israel back to Babylon.

Why?

2 Chronicles 36:15-21 (NKJV)

(see 2 Kings. 25:1–21; Jeremiah. 52:4–30)

"And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

Therefore He brought against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, on the aged or the weak; He gave them all into his hand. And all the articles from the house of God, great and small, the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king and of his leaders, all these he took to Babylon.

Then they burned the house of God, broke down the wall of Jerusalem, burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all its precious possessions. And those who escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon, where they became servants to him and his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia,

to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years."

To make a long story short. Israel is burning with jealousy because for over 1300 years, the Arabs have ruled the Temple Mount.

Just to rehash. In 1917, Israel returned to its own land (not Palestine). In 1948, a nation was born in one day. Israel. In 1967, the Jews took Jerusalem back, but Jerusalem is still under Jordanian control.

In 1967, Israel feared a major war with the Arab nations if they destroyed the Dome Of The Rock.

Today, Iran wants to obtain and use a nuclear weapon against Israel. The proxy wars gives us the appearance that the nations want to join in to destroy Israel and the Jews.

Antisemitism is on the rise. While other nations are experiencing unrecoverable low birth rates, Israel has reached 10 million citizens, both by births and Jews returning to the land.

Gaza will soon be under complete Israeli control. The peace accords in the Middle East is taking place with fevered pitch.

As long as the AL Aqsa Mosque and the Dome Of The Rock remain, a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount can't be built.

But the jealousy of the Jews is rising.

Since returning to their land, Israel settled for Jewish prayers to be made at the Western Wall. Regulary, the Jews have walked the Temple Mount and theri numbers is inceasing. This year was the largest number of Jews walking the Temple Mount. At some point, you will grow tired of this restriction.

While serving in the US Navy 40+ years ago, my ship anchored out a Haifa. We took a trip to the ancient city, Jerusalem. We walked along the Western Wall Plaza. I didn't understand it then as a very young believer in Christ, but I understand it now.

Couple that experience of walking on the Plaza with a new appreciation for end time prophesy Scripture and it's a powerful experience and an eye opener. The Lord is soon to come.

James 5:7-9 (NKJV)

"Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!"

Just like a farmer waits for rain to come, the farmer is patient. So just like the farmer, we wait patiently for the return of the Lord. That's the proper context and exegetical interpretation of this text.

Not the false "former and latter rain" end time revival teaching.

Most NT believers will not do a deep dive into NT prophesy. It's a daunting task. You have to study the OT books to get a good working knowledge of the subject.

Nonetheless, we see that Israel is yearning with jealousy to build the 3rd Temple. The Temple Institute in Israel is prepared to operate on day one, but they don't have a Temple.

Everything is set.

We have the most pro Israel US government in US history. Israel has more right winged pro Temple government in history.

All of the furniture that was used before the destruction in AD 70 is accounted for. While we don't know the precise location of the original Ark Of The Covenant, there's no question in my mind that once the 3rd Temple is built, the Ark will be seen for the first time since 70 AD.

THE LEVITICAL PRIESTHOOD IS TRAINED AND READY TO GO.

They've selected their earthly Jewish Levitical high priest.

If you push the Jews too far, they will take an "I don't care" approach and will care less about destroying the Dome of The Rock to build the Temple. Or they may enter into intense negotiations to build the Temple where the Dome sits. Or an inerrant rocket may just strike the Dome. Or an earthquake.

We don't really know how the dismantling of the Dome and the building of the Temple will come about, but when the Bible is 100% accurate that the Temple will be built, make no mistake about it, the Temple will be built.

Name one Biblical prophesy that never came to pass. If you could find one, then God is a liar and He can't be trusted.

"Remember the former things of old,

For I am God, and there is no other;

I am God, and there is none like Me,Declaring the end from the beginning,

And from ancient times things that are not yet done,

Saying, My counsel shall stand,

And I will do all My pleasure,’

Calling a bird of prey from the east,

The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.

Indeed I have spoken it;

I will also bring it to pass.

I have purposed it;

I will also do it."

Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)

“God is not a man, that He should lie,

Nor a son of man, that He should repent.

Has He said, and will He not do?

Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"

Hebrews 6:17-18 (NKJV)

"Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us."

What's the "...by two immutable things?"

1. His unchangeable counsel can't be altered and

2. His oath that He swore to Himself.

That's why we must watch, pray, preach the gospel, and live holy.

Matthew 24:42-44 (NKJV)

"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."

The time is short and the Second Coming of the Lord, the Messiah, is at hand.

However, before the Second Coming of the true Messiah to rescue Israel happens, the Beast or the Antichrist (the false Messiah) will make a covenant with many and then in the middle of the week he'll fulfill Revelation 13:11-18 and cease sacrifice and offerings in the 3rd Temple. This begins the great tribulation (see Daniel chapters 9 and 12 and Matthew 24).

Romans 13:11-14 (NKJV)

"And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand.

Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts."
